Since starting in 2014, West Aussie Migration has helped thousands of people navigate Australia’s overly complex visa system. Our staff are ready to help you no matter what issue you may have. Our aim is always to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients, and we try our best to achieve this.

We assist with a wide range of visas specifically; employer sponsored temporary and permanent visas, investor visas, partner visas, student visas, entertainment visas, temporary activity visas and general skilled visas. In addition to this we also assist in review applications to the Migration and Refugee Division of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. West Aussie Migration is a member of the Migration Institute of Australia, the peak industry body for the migration advice industry. As migration law is constantly changing, we pride ourselves on staying up to date on news and upcoming changes to the law.

Director and Principal Migration Agent

Thomas Griffiths

Thomas is the Director and Principal Migration Agent at West Aussie Migration. Thomas grew up in Western Australia but after completing his undergraduate studies Thomas spent several years working in South Korea and Japan. Thomas has firsthand knowledge of the Western Australia’s leading tertiary institutions holding a number of qualifications including a Bachelor of Arts (Asian Studies and Japanese), a Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law and Practice, a Postgraduate Certificate in Chinese Law, a Bachelor of Arts (Korean Studies), a Juris Doctor and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.

Thomas has a wealth of experience in migration law having worked commenced working as a registered Australian migration agent in 2013 (MARN 1387008) and in this capacity has helped countless people from all around the world navigate Australia’s complex immigration system. Outside of work in his spare time Thomas builds upon his university studies of Japanese and Korean with the aim of reaching a native level of fluency in both languages. On the weekends where possible Thomas enjoys exploring the beautiful state of Western Australia and its numerous camp sites.

Ashley Kendall

Ashley is a Consultant at West Aussie Migration. After graduating with a double degree in Commerce and Arts majoring in Japanese from the University of Western Australia in 2010, he spent a year in Japan on a working holiday before returning to complete a Juris Doctor at Melbourne University. Ashley started working with Thomas and found working within the migration law sphere a great application of his skills. After working as a solicitor, Ashley continues to work with West Aussie Migration particularly at its sister business West Aussie Education, where he holds the position of Director. Ashley is experienced with skilled migration, AAT visa refusal/cancellation appeals and student visas. Ashley’s experience in the Australian education system to the post-graduate level means he knows the ins and outs of the system and can help you get the outcomes you want. On the weekends, you will find Ashley with his friends eating his favourite food.
